The processing data center gathers the necessary scientific and technology expertises for the processing of seismic data, as regards both the crustal (geodynamics, seismic stratigraphy, seismicity and georesources) and the near-surface geophysical exploration (civil engineering, hydrogeology and geothermics). Both standard and advanced processing techniques are used to do so, according to each data type (legacy or modern data, land or marine data), in order to obtain the best image of the earth's interior. The processing data center manages both the processing of newly acquired data and the reprocessing of OGS-owned legacy dataset.
