Francesco Dattilo wins the local FameLab selection

Francesco Dattilo, PhD student at the OGS and the University of Trieste, took first place in the local FameLab competition today.

Dattilo was joined by Federica Moretti from the University of Trieste and Michele Libralato from the University of Udine, who took second and third place respectively.

Federica Moretti, however, won the audience award.

FameLab is an international competition that challenges young scientific researchers with a talent for communication to talk about their field of study or a scientific topic that they are passionate about in just 3 minutes. No projections, graphics, videos, just a handful of words and their own communication talent to convey the charm and importance of scientific research to the public in an appealing and understandable way.
