The OGS opens its new headquarters in Milazzo

The OGS headquarters in Milazzo was inaugurated today in the presence of the Minister for Civil Protection and Maritime Policy, Senator Nello Musumeci.

The headquarters is adjacent to the ECCSEL NatLab-Italy laboratory in Panarea, which has been in operation since 2015 as the Italian component of ECCSEL-ERIC (European Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage Laboratory Infrastructure). It'll primarily serve to optimise the administrative and logistical organisation of the laboratory and facilitate the management of the available instruments.

The ECCSEL–NatLab Italy laboratory in Panarea, funded by the Ministry of University and Research as part of the Italian Research Infrastructures of Pan-European Interest and recently strengthened thanks to the PON Research and Innovation 2014-2020 and the PNRR “Strengthening and Creating Research Infrastructures”, is now one of the outstanding facilities of ECCSEL-ERIC and is available to the international scientific community through funding or through its own public or private resources.
