Preserving glaciers: scientific conference held today

Preserving glaciers was the focus of today’s event at the Parco delle Fonti in Torrate di Chions, organized to celebrate World Water Day.

The scientific conference, jointly organized by Livenza Tagliamento Acque and OGS, was aimed at professionals and experts in the field. It provided an opportunity for discussion and reflection on the importance of protecting glaciers, which are melting at an increasingly rapid pace due to global warming—making the water cycle ever more unpredictable.
