TeRABIT conference in Bologna
“Networks, HPC and Cloud Computing: opportunities and challenges of national research infrastructures” is the title of the two-day conference that opens the first year of activity of the PNRR project TeRABIT (Terabit Network for Research and Academic Big Data in Italy). The event will be hosted by the Congress Center of the CNR Territorial Research Area
On June 26, a workshop dedicated to users of HPC resources, with hands-on labs and demonstrations, will provide space for the project's protagonists.
The program includes the participation of Michele Mazzola, Director of the General Directorate for Internationalization and Communication of the Ministry of College and Research, and Carlo Cavazzoni, Head of the Leonardo Laboratory for HPC and Chairman of the Industrial Advisory Board of the National Research Center for HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing ICSC.
During the day, the project partners will present use cases and contributions to the development of national research infrastructures and federated services for users as objectives of the TeRABIT project.
