CARG

The objective of the project is the redaction of the geological cartography of the marine area of the Sheets Trieste n. 110 and Caresana n. 131 at the scale of 1: 50,000, as part of the Official Geological Cartography of Italy (CARG), in collaboration with the University of Trieste which deals with the land part of the respective sheets. For the marine area, the project provides for the identification and mapping of the main depositional environments using geophysical and geological data, and the preparation of the geodatabase in GIS environment.
