ECCSEL NatLab Italy (ECCSEL FOE)

ECCSEL NATLAB ITALY is a project funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) since 2013, connected to ECCSEL ERIC. Thanks to this project, OGS has been able to develop and implement two laboratories: in Panarea (Aeolian Islands) and in Latera (Viterbo province). These laboratories allow researchers and industry to develop and test innovative monitoring techniques, to detect potential CO₂ leakages and evaluate their impact on the ecosystem.
