Alberto Tamaro

My area of interest is seismic hazard assessment in probabilistic terms (PSHA). I am co-author of numerous hazard assessment studies, including the MA1 model for the preparation of the next seismic hazard map of the national territory (MPS19), and numerous seismic safety assessment projects for critical and relevant facilities (dams, nuclear power plants, port activities, regasification facilities and oil&gas pipeline). The specific activities are largely related to the use of GIS (geographic information systems), for which I am a specialist.
