Main Activities: Long experience in geophysical fluid dynamics and marine biogeochemical cycles and among his fields of interests, there are the study of marine ecology applied to the oligotrophic Eastern Mediterranean in comparison with the dynamics of the mesotrophic western basin and the coupling of ecosystems to the carbon cycle, Guido Crispi has contributed as supervisor of the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics - OGS in a number of Italian and European Union projects, and as the OGS Participant Contact and Project Leader in the European Union Project Research into Impacts and Safety in CO2 Storage;
1988-present: Staff Researcher at the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics, Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale, OGS-OCE, formerly OGS-DOGA and 1984-1987: Technical and Professional Assistant employed at the Osservatorio Geofisico Sperimentale, former OGS;
Applications to GNSM/CNR, to SIMAI/SIAM, to GNFM/CNR, to ESF/ECOPS, to EGS/EGU, to ICTP/UNITS.
