Profile
My research activity lies on the study of the ground deformation, at both crustal and lithospheric level, at both local and regional scale. I use data from space geodesy techniques (GNSS, satellite altimetry) to study tectonically active areas, and numerical modelling to study the geodynamics in continental collisional settings. I worked on lithospheric and neotectonic deformation of Himalaya Mountains in Central Asia, on the crustal deformation in vulcano-related contexts, like Canary Islands, and in the tectonics along the Italian coastlines from altimetry and tide gauges data. In OGS, my activity is mainly related to the deformation in North-East Italy, using and managing FReDNet network data, but I am also interested in the landslide monitoring for risk reduction purposes.
