Massimo Zecchin

I deal with sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy of siliciclastic sedimentary successions, based on outcrop, seismic and well data. The purpose of my research is to reconstruct the depositional history of sedimentary basins, highlighting the impact of tectonics and eustasy on the architecture of stratigraphic sequences. These studies are essential both in the identification of stratigraphic traps and in the analysis of the effects of eustasy and paleoclimate.
