Vanessa Rossana Cardin

Physical Oceanographer and Senior Researcher, head of the Physical Oceanography Group. She works on air-sea interaction and variability in the Mediterranean Sea in response to climate change.

Chair of the Mediterranean Oceanographic Network of Ocean Observing System - MonGOOS and since 2006 P.I. of the EMSO-ERIC site in the South Adriatic. Has participated in national and European projects and oceanographic campaigns in the Mediterranean, Pacific and Antarctic, most of them as chief scientist.
