Vinko Bandelj

He is an environmental scientist, with more than 15 years of experience in marine ecology and oceanography. From 2011 he is a full-time researcher at the OGS.

His main fields of research are the application to marine data of advanced statistical methods (machine learning, artificial neural networks, gradient analysis, fuzzy clustering, graph analysis). His interests include habitat suitability models, analysis of marine connectivity, MPA management, coastal risk assessment.
