Scientific Diving School in Panarea: registration is open

In the framework of the ECCSELLENT project (Development of ECCSEL-R.I. ItaLian facilities: usEr access, services and loNg-Term sustainability), the OGS, together with the Sapienza University of Rome and CO2GeoNet, is organising the Scientific Diving Summer School in Panarea, aimed at students, graduates, postgraduates and doctoral students in scientific disciplines and professionals involved in the management and exploration of the sea.

The school, now in its eighth year, focuses on techniques and methods for studying the chemical, biological and geological characteristics of Panarea's hydrothermal spring systems.

It will take place from 18 to 23 September at ECCSEL NatLab-Italy, the natural laboratory of Panarea, in collaboration with the Parthenope University of Naples and INGV (Palermo and Rome) and with the endorsemente of the the Italian Association of Scientific Diving.
