Andrea Caburlotto

Degree in Geological Sciences (1999, University of Trieste) and a PhD in Polar Sciences (2003, University of Siena) and has been working at OGS since 2004.

His work is mainly focussed on:

• Investigation of depositional processes and palaeoclimatic variations along the Antarctic and Arctic continental margins;
• Identification of geological hazard elements of the seafloor and coastal regions.

Head of the Core Logging Lab for the analysis of physical properties and visualisation of structures.
