I am a marine geologist.

My research interests are twofold:

• the reconstruction of the paleoenvironmental and paleoclimate evolution of continental margins at both low and high latitudes through a seismostragraphic approach;
• the geological-geophysical characterization of geofluids, also aimed at their underground storage.

Since 2021 I am the Managing Editor of Marine Geology (Elsevier).
