Michele Rebesco

My research interests are centred on the Geological/geophysical exploration of continental margins, aimed at depositional processes and paleoclimatic reconstruction. My main focus is on polar margins and interacting downslope and alongslope deep-sea sedimentary processes and submarine instabilities. I participated in 9 national and international marine research cruises, of which 3 as scientific coordinator, for a total of about 330 days at sea, in the Antarctic, Arctic and Mediterranean seas.
