Francesca Iacuzzo

My research activity concerns the study of marine microbial communities and their role in the environment by combining different ecological approaches, including the evaluation of extracellular enzymatic activity, molecular biology techniques and biogeochemistry.
My interest is in how microorganisms interact with each other and their ability to shape the environment around them.
