Postdoc at the Sanger Institute in Cambridge (UK), Researcher at the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn (SZN, Italy) since 2010, Senior Researcher at SZN since 2020, associate to the National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics, Trieste (Italy) since 2022. Research interests: diatom genetics and functional genomics, life cycles, gene expression regulation, -omics and genome editing.
